"I’ve been beating myself up all day. Then I thought … what would Idina Menzel say, She’d say, Let it go, let it go! Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!"
So what do you do when your town doesn’t have a movie theater and it’s the middle of winter in Norway? You make one in the snow!
The ski resort town of Beitostølen did just that. This past weekend, folks set up their own outdoor cinema for a viewing of the film Kraftidioten, a movie about a father taking on Norwegian and Serbia mafia rings to avenge his son’s death, which recently got rave reviews at the Berlin Film Festival. Because the movie was filmed in the town, its creators wanted to find a way to have a viewing for its residents. Never underestimate the ingenuity of Norwegians!
